*Report on Awareness Campaign on Career Prospects in the Reserve Bank of India*

The Career Counselling and Placement Cell (CCP Cell) of MDKG College on 30th January, 2026 organised an Awareness campaign on Career Prospects in the Reserve Bank of India in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India, Guwahati. The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students about career opportunities, recruitment procedures, and professional growth in the RBI.

The programme commenced with a welcome speech by *Mr. Anirudha Dutta, Vice Principal of MDKG College*, who highlighted the importance of informed career planning and encouraged students to explore opportunities in prestigious institutions like the RBI.

The session was hosted by *Dr. Mitali Sonowal, Coordinator of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell. The resource person for the programme was **Mr. Abhishekh Dey, AGM, Human Resource, Reserve Bank of India, Guwahati*. Mr. Dey delivered an insightful and informative talk on the structure and functions of the RBI, various career avenues, eligibility criteria, selection process, and preparation strategies for aspiring candidates.

The session was interactive and engaging, with students actively participating and seeking clarification on various aspects of RBI careers.
