Two Day National Seminar On Viksit Bharat-2047: Inclusion and Sustainability

 

A Two Day National Seminar On ‘Viksit Bharat-2047: Inclusion and Sustainability’ (Blended mode) was held on 15th and 16th of December, 2025 at Manohari Devi Kanoi Girls’ College, Dibrugarh (MDKG College). The programme has been jointly organized by the Department of Education and the Research and Development Cell of MDKG College in collaboration with the Centre for Management Studies, Dibrugarh University and Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM)

The two-day National Seminar was held in blended mode. Teachers, Researchers, Students and participants from various universities, Colleges and diverse fields across the country have participated in the seminar. Several research papers related to the selected theme were presented during the sessions.

The inaugural session was addressed by Dr. Anup Jyoti Bharali, Principal, MDKG College. The session was attended by Prof. Jiten Hazarika, The Honourable Vice Chancellor, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam; Mr. Manoj Jalan, Director of Jalan Industries
Prof. Ajanta Borgohain Rajkonwar, The Honourable Vice Chancellor, Assam Women’s University, Jorhat, Assam; Prof. Suresh Kadam, Pune Institute of Business Management; Prof. Surajit Borkotokey
Professor, Department of Mathematics, Dibrugarh University, and Prof. Pratim Barua Chairperson, CMS, Dibrugarh University.

The technical sessions on both days were chaired by renowned eminent educationists which included Dr. Suresh Kadam, Associate Professor, Head of Department, Finance, Pune Institute of Business Management; Dr. Anita Baruwa, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, DHSK Commerce College; Prof. Neeta Kalita Barua, Department of Education, Dibrugarh University; Dr. Himadri Barman, Associate Professor, Centre for Management Studies, Dibrugarh University; Prof. Pranjal Pratim Buragohain, Department of Economics, Dibrugarh University;  Dr. Partha Ganguly, Vice Principal and Associate Professor, Department of Economics, DHSK College (Autonomous); Dr. Bipasha Chetiya, Head & Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University.

The programme witnessed active participation from Faculty members, scholars and academicians from different institutions and organisations contributing to meaningful academic deliberations.

The Co-ordinators of the Seminar Dr. Abilupta Padmanathan Gohain, Assistant Prof., Dept of Education and Dr. Malina Basumatary, Associate Prof., Dept of Education MDKG College Dibrugarh,  expressed hope that the seminar has help strengthen the research orientation and promote interdisciplinary academic engagement among all the participants.
