The Department of Geography, MDKG College, organized an invited lecture on “Doing Culture in Geography: Space, Power and Identity” on 6th September 2025. The session was conducted by Daisy Rani Hazarika, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Arya Vidyapeeth College (Autonomous), Guwahati, Assam, who is also an alumna of MDKG College.        

On 6th September 2025, the Department of Community Science, Manohari Devi Kanoi Girls’ College, in association with IQAC, organized a special talk for students to mark National Nutrition Week. The resource person, Dr. Pallavi Barooah, highlighted the significance of consuming nutritious food for overall health and wellbeing, while Dr. Sanghamitra Saikia discussed and demonstrated the preparation of protein-rich dishes along with body detox water    

Manohari Devi Kanoi Girls’ College, Dibrugarh, observed National Sports Day on 29th and 30th August 2025. Many students participated with enthusiasm. On this occasion, the College organised Carrom Board and Chess competitions. These events were organised to promote sportsmanship and to encourage healthy competition among the students.               .
