Our college celebrated National Science Day on 28th February, 2026, with great enthusiasm, bringing together students and faculty to honour the spirit of scientific curiosity and innovation.
The programme was formally inaugurated by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the President of the Governing Body, Dr. Surajit Borkotokey. We were privileged to have Dr. Amrita Kashyap Chaliha as the Guest Speaker, whose insightful talk inspired students and highlighted the importance of scientific thinking in shaping our future.
The celebration, held under the theme “Women in Science – Catalysing Viksit Bharat,” featured several engaging events including a Doodling Competition, Exhibition-cum-Sale, and a Quiz Competition. The quiz was conducted with great enthusiasm by Quiz Master Mr. Bronson Sharma, making it an exciting and intellectually stimulating experience for the participants.
The day successfully encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the role of science in our everyday lives. as the Guest Speaker, whose insightful talk inspired students and highlighted the importance of scientific thinking in shaping our future.
